Data is from the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey (ACS), 1-year estimates. The overall percentage of healthcare coverage and the population figures are from Table S2701. Private and public coverage data is from Table B27020. LiveStories calculated the percentages. The population in this data only includes non-institutionalized civilians.
